What does Advent have to do with Santa Claus?
Advent is part of the christian religious liturgical calendar to time to remember and anticipate.
The first two Sundays in Advent is a time to look forward to ChristÕs birth, and the last
two Sundays are for remembering ChristÕs first coming.
Throughout the Advent month, Bible readings move the Old Testament announcing Chirist's coming by John the Baptist
to the New Testament about the announcements of ChristÕs arrival the Angels.
Most families combine the celebration of Christ's birth with the commercial celebration of Christmas
and Santa Claus. The Santa Advent Calendar is a perfect way to do this.
