Instructions:
Take a two liter plastic bottle. Remove the label and cut along the indented line on the bottom of the bottle. This will be your basket
Then cut a 1-inch wide strip from the remaining plastic to use for the handle.
Staple the handle to the basket, decorate with a bow and stickers
Fill with your favorite Easter Candies.
Empty Large plastic drink bottles
2 - 3 small plants
Artificial plants, flowers, bugs or figurines
Sticks
Small rocks
Potting soil
Instructions:
In very warm water soak the bottle to clean thoroughly, then rinse and dry.
Pull off any labels and the bottom colored portion.
With a sharp knife to cut the top off the clear part of the bottle (about 4" from the cap).
Turn the clear part upside down. Slip the cut edges into the planter to make a dome top.
You can glue an artificial plants, flower or bugs or figurines to the dome for decoration.
Place a layer of small rocks in the bottom of the plastic bottle.
Place a few inches of potting soil over the rocks and then plant your 2-3 plants.
Make sure the roots are completely covered with potting soil.
Then add additional potting around your plants to fill.
Place some pretty rocks, sticks, or tiny toy animals or figurines around the plants.
