Make a United States Flag Fan
What You Need
Patriotic Construction Paper
Tempera
Marker Colors >
Scissors
Craftsticks
Pen or pencil
Ruler
Tape
Tacky Glue
How To Make It
Measure and cut a rectangle 5" wide x 3 1/2" tall out of the white
paper.
Measure and cut a rectangle 2" wide x 1 1/2" tall out of the navy
blue paper.
Draw white stars on the navy blue paper.
Using your pen or pencil, measure in 1/4" increments down the white paper
to make the stripes.
Draw red stripes on the white paper.
Let the markers dry for about 10 minutes (depending on humidity).
Attach the navy blue paper with the stars on the upper left corner of the
flag with tape.
Add tacky glue to Popsicle stick and add to the back of the fan.
Cut a piece of white paper the same size as the other white paper. Add glue
around the edges and attach to the back of the fan.
